Sand Creek High School Request
Hi all,
Nate Wood from Sand Creek HS called me wanting to do a star party for his astronomy classes before the semester ends.
He said he would like to have it sometime between 7th and 18th of December on one of those week nights.
He asked that I pick a date and then let him know.
So, I would like to know who would like help and are there dates in the above range that would not work for you.
Thank you!

Hi Jim,
I can help. Any of those dates are fine with me, so we should just pick the warmest clear one. The moon isn't visible during that whole time, so that's not a consideration at all either. Just the weather. Choose wisely.

If I'm not on business travel or otherwise indisposed, I plan to help with this
star party. Kelsey may help also if she's not preoccupied with schoolwork. I
am busy the evening of Thursday, Dec. 10 and won't be able to help if it's
held that night.

Jim,
I can support this. My scope is not portable, so I can goat-herd students around the scopes and help keep them organized.
call me at 440-2760 to discuss

I can also help with this. I'll bring my scope, but if it's not needed (ie, there are already 5 out there) then I'll help with the herding as well.

Oopps! I can't make it. I forgot that I had a prior commitment. Some Marines and toys.
I'll try to make it, too.

Jim,
Any chance of moving this? 23 is the predicted high on Wed, so it will be much colder after dark. I'm not very interested in coming at those temps.

It may be cancelled. Too cold. Next week is finals so probably
won't do it until after New Years.
Left word with Nate. Will post when I hear back from him.
